Tahoe Meadows |
||||
| Comments: This trail is a large loop that circles a large and soggy meadow. The paths are wide and there is very little elevation change making this a great walk for those who want to enjoy Tahoe's wonders without physical challenge. I personally enjoy the pinks here. Shooting Stars line the waterways that are hidden form your eyes by the grass. And both species of Elephant Heads are easily found. A pleasant walk! That's my wife, Bobbi, on the right. | ||||
| Directions: Beginning in Incline Village, take Route 431 towards Mount Rose and Reno. In about 7 miles you will see a large open meadow on the right hand side. Between this meadow and the next, there is a paved road to a large parking area with needed facilities. The trail head is well marked. |
