Meiss Meadow

| Comments:
This trail
has plenty of action, which is close to Carson Pass standards, but lacks
the massive unbroken fields of colors. What makes Meiss stand out is
that it blooms before Carson Pass (a southern versus northern exposure)
and has a spectacular Aspen forest to brighten your fall days, after
Carson has faded. Thus the Meiss Meadow trail is a perfect combination
with Carson making this area a good spot throughout the summer and into
the fall season. The trail itself keeps on going, without a notable
stopping point. So pick your own spot for the return. |
