Great Polemonium Great Polemonium has more of a bowl shape than a trumpet, but manages to be striking just like the others in the family. Notice the three branched stigma (female reproductive part that receives the pollen) extending out to you.
Scarlet Gilia or Skyrocket The Scarlet Gilia or Skyrocket is a standout flower. Doesn't it look like it is flying? The Skyrocket has the classic trumpet shape of a Phlox member.
