LAKE TAHOE WILDFLOWER HIKES

The wildflower season is just beginning!!!!  It is time to do some warm-up hikes and start remembering those early blooming wildflowers. Stay close to Lake level to avoid snow banks and very wet conditions.  I have posted my Sierra Club hikes on the Event Calendar.   Sign up now...

 Learning about the flowers makes hiking so much more enjoyable.  I have provided a sampler of in "Flower Pictures" section.  Learn a little about the families and enjoy some of my better attempts at photography.  I do welcome your shots and have included several "donations" in my gallery.

If you want the professional's touch, I have listed under "Flower Books"  the best books that I have encountered. Provided is a brief description of the content and who would benefit most from the book.
